Joining the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium
The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) is a cooperative consisting of member companies who share a common goal: to research and develop IntelliCAD platform technology and to deliver high value CAD solutions to customers worldwide.
The ITC is a non-profit organization and invests over 75% of revenue in research and development. The ITC development team consists of seasoned programmers expert in CAD, 2D and 3D math and visualization.
Members pay an annual membership fee which is used to fund development:
- Commercial Members have a license to distribute an unlimited number of IntelliCAD licenses worldwide. The license can be royalty-based or royalty-free. Commercial Members develop, sell and support products based on the IntelliCAD technology. They have access to source code and development support. Commercial members also participate in the governance of the ITC.
- API Members have access to development resources but do not have access to the source code and do not have a license to distribute IntelliCAD technology. API members can purchase IntelliCAD technology from a Commercial Member.
The ITC provides a professional "shared development" environment for its Commercial Members, with access to proven development and testing tools. All members actively contribute ideas, test pre-release software, report issues, fix defects, and communicate with the ITC development team. This technology partnership is wide ranging and contributes to every aspect of IntelliCAD.
